Chairman
Mr.Joel A.Ruhu is the Chairman of Kenya Film Commission. He has Worked as an Accountant for 17 years with Cargill E.A. Ltd.He has also worked with the Government of Kenya as a Technician in Range Management for 4 years and finally became a Director of Kenya Union of Savings and Credit Cooperatives for 19 years. He was the National Chairman of KUSCCO for 4 years and then the President/Chairman of ACCOSCA, the Pan African body for savings and credit cooperatives for 4 years, till December 2007.Educational Background: Accountant and Range Management Technician, A seasoned cooperative leader .







Mrs Jenny Pont

Mrs. Jenny Pont attended Nakuru, Kitale Primary Schools and Highlands Eldoret before proceeding to UK for further education. On return to Kenya worked in Ministry of Agriculture, progressing to various industries (Publishing, Agriculture, Oil, Property Management, Vehicle Assembly, PR, and Real Estate) which all provided a valuable background on entering the film industry in 1988. With 26 Feature and TV films and many more TV commercials, music videos and documentaries Jenny is one of Kenya's leading film producers and proprietor of Pontact Productions EPZ Ltd. Her highest achievement was coordinating "Nowhere in Africa", winner of the 2002 Oscar for Best Foreign Language Feature. She has served on the Board of Kenya Film Commission since its inception in 2006.





Mr Aghan Odero Aghan

Mr. Aghan Odero Aghan is an Arts and Culture Management Consultant with a wide experience in both visual and performance arts programs. He is a graduate in Arts and Culture Management from University of Witwatersrand – RSA; He is also a graduate of the University of Nairobi where he took a degree in Business Administration and Marketing. He briefly worked as a civil servant with Ministry of Finance before plunging into arts and media sector first a manager with Mzizi Arts Center. Aghan Odero is credited as an experienced Kenyan actor in both live theatre and screen.He sits in the kenya Film Commission as a board member with specific representatives interest of kenyan screen actors and performers.





Mrs Ivy Matiba-Chege

Mrs. Ivy Matiba-Chege is currently the Managing Director of The people Newspaper. Mrs. Chege joined the Alliance Group in 1991 where she was seconded to The People at its inception in 1993 where she learnt the elements of newspaper publishing on the job. She was appointed the Managing director in 1996 and oversaw the transition from a weekly to a daily newspaper in 1998. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Southampton University.
