KEN Synopsis

Ken and Emmanuel are two lowly and hapless waiters working in a hotel dreaming of bigger and better things. In Emmanuel's case, he dreams of becoming a wrestler. In Ken's case he dreams of getting together with a radio DJ called Njendo.

If only they knew how their dreams were about to come through and with what consequences!

When Ken returns from his village, where he pretends to be a successful Bank Manager; his taxi bumps into Njendo's car- who is coming to stay at the hotel to get away from her lying, cheating boyfriend. The problem is Ken is dressed like a Manager and Njendo, eventually forgiving him, takes him for one.

In the coming days, Ken has to spend his time dogging Njendo while he is being a waiter. To add more pressure to serious pressure Ken's uncle (also believing him to be an influential bank manager) is after him for a loan to have a wedding and his Manager is after his job to give to his own relative! Meanwhile Emmanuel is running round their room in a wrestling suit. Life can be weird.

Of course all bad things must come to a bad end and eventually Uncle G finds out that Ken is not a Bank Manager and Njendo finds out he is a waiter and his Manager grabs the opportunity to sack both Ken and Emmanuel.

Out on their ears, the two fall back on Emmanuel's wrestling skills. Only to find out that he actually has some! Trained by the ex- army wrestling champion Uncle G, who has reconciled with them, Emmanuel wins a big fight. It is a fight that Uncle G has persuaded Njendo to come and see. It is a fight at which Ken no longer has to wrestle with love, as he also reconciles with Njendo.

When Uncle G marries his new bride, Ken and Njendo are there- a couple waiting in the wings for their moment by the alter.
