The Kenya Film Commission invites applications for pre-qualification/registration of suppliers for the supply of goods and services specified below for the period 2014 - 2016 financial years.

The document containing general conditions of prequalification can be downloaded free of charge from our website: www.kenyafilmcommission.com or obtained during official working hours from the Kenya Film Commission Offices, 2nd Floor Jumuia II, Lenana Road, Kilimani upon payment of non-refundable fee of Kshs. 1,000/= (Kenya Shillings One Thousand) per set of tender document to the cash office either in cash or bankers cheque, payable to the Kenya Film Commission.

Not later than 10.00 a.m (Local time) on Friday August 29th, 2014

or deposit the tender in the Tender Box situated at the main door Kenya Film Commission office. Tender opening will be done immediately thereafter at the Kenya Film Commission Boardroom and bidders or their representative wishing to witness can attend.

Kenya Film Commission reserves the right to accept or reject the application (s) either in whole or part and is not bound to give reason(s) for its decision.

DRAFT NATIONAL FILM POLICY

The Draft National Film Policy has been prepared after wide consultation with stakeholders and film industry players predating March 2011 meeting when the first stakeholders' forum over the same was constituted. The Draft National Film Policy prescribes not only the legal framework on which the industry will operate but also provides a basis on which Kenya will spring to remain the world filming destination
of choice.
